We purchase Rosehip Seed Oil in small batches once a month to ensure that it is fresh. Rosehip seed oil loses it's potency within 6 months to a year and for that reason I am happy to pay a little more to know that it is fresh and potent.

Rosehip is a perfect skin care and moisturizing oil for dry, environmentally damaged, and mature skin. It is high in potent antioxidants and essential fatty acids that stimulate and promote skin repair and regeneration. It is also an excellent oil to support skin healing.

Rosehip Seed Oil is pressed form the Seeds of the Rosa Mosqueta Plant which is native to Chile. The oil contains 30-40% gamma linoleic acid, which is an essential fatty acid that the body must get from an outside source in order for the skin to regenerate itself. This oil softens and smooths scars and keloids. It is also great for skin with broken capillaries.

You can use Rosehip Oil as a moisturizer, or as a revitalising serum underneath your moisturizer. Just work it gently into clean moist skin, or massage it into healing skin that is no longer broken or scabbed.
