 It is an excellent antiseptic and I often use it with distilled water and ethyl alcohol to make my own antibacterial hand sprays and surface sprays. It also makes a wonderful air freshener when used in an aromatherapy diffuser.
 
 Lime also brings energy to the body and mind, and lifts the spirit.

 This oil also works well sprinkled on a tissue and inhaled, or with a warm moist compress.
